Physical Therapy Rates (effective January 2026):

One of my primary inquiries is, "Do you accept insurance?" To be fully transparent, no

Lotus Core Physical Therapy operates as an out-of-network provider. This means that I do not have contracts with insurance companies. Beginning January 2026, Lotus Core PT will be updating session rates to reflect expanded evaluation time and the high level of individualized pelvic health care provided. Initial evaluations will transition to a 90-minute appointment to allow for a more thorough assessment, hands-on treatment, and personalized plan of care from the start. Follow-up visits will be 60-minute one-on-one session, designed to offer focused, comprehensive treatment and meaningful progress toward your goals. With over ten years of pelvic health experience and limited availability for highly personalized care, these updates ensure each session provides the depth, attention, and expertise you deserve.

I do provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement for out-of-network benefits. As you decide about your healthcare, make sure to understand your insurance benefits. Email: info@lotuscorept.com if you would like an insurance guide to see if an out-of-network provider is for you. If you have questions concerning common terminology, check out my blog on: Navigating the Health Care System.

Please note if you have Medicare Insurance, at this time I cannot see you at my fee-for service practice. If you need help finding a therapist, please reach out.

Space: Find a quiet space that allows you to express your concerns and questions to me. I will be in a quiet, private and safe environment to allow you to speak freely. Please avoid public environments or taking the appointment in your car. If this were to occur, we will reschedule the appointment and you will forfeit the cost of the payment for that session.

Equipment needs: A computer or mobile phone with Wi-Fi. If you have access to a tripod to hold your phone or someone available to help video, this will allow you to maneuver the phone if you need to perform exercises or movements but this is not necessary. Please turn off streaming type services to help the connectivity for your session.

Recommendations for a Telehealth Visit

Telehealth visits provide access to specialized pelvic health physical therapy from the comfort of home. Sessions include comprehensive assessment, education, guided movement, and individualized care plans. All visits are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.

Additional Benefits from a Cash Pay Model:

Direct Access
You don’t need a referral from a physician, OB/GYN, or urologist to begin care. We welcome collaboration with your healthcare team when appropriate, but your care can start immediately.

Comprehensive Care
Multiple complaints? No problem. I address your concerns as a whole-body system, without requiring multiple evaluations for different areas, unlike insurance-based models.

Cost Transparency & Savings
High deductibles or session limits can make insurance-based care expensive. Cash-pay sessions often reduce the total number of visits while providing longer, more individualized appointments. I also provide a worksheet to help you navigate out-of-network insurance benefits - email info@lotuscorept.com to request it.

Building a Partnership
My goal is to help you achieve lasting improvements. Even after functional limitations are resolved, I’m happy to support your ongoing performance, strength, and well-being.

Why I started Lotus Core PT

I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges of the traditional physical therapy model. Back-to-back patients, insurance limitations dictating treatments, tight time constraints, and difficulties scheduling initial evaluations or follow-ups often prevented me from providing the care I truly believe in. The current healthcare system can make it difficult for both patients and providers to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Out of frustration — and a desire to deliver care aligned with my values, I created Lotus Core PT. My goal is to provide one-on-one, holistic care that treats the connection between body and mind. Each session lasts up to 90 minutes, allowing time to listen to your story, connect the dots, and perform a thorough assessment. Together, we identify root causes and collaborate on a treatment plan tailored to your goals. Education is central to my approach: I want you to understand how your body works and how to optimize your well-being.

I named my practice Lotus Core for two reasons:

  1. The Lotus Flower
The lotus symbolizes strength, resilience, and rebirth. Despite growing in murky waters, it blooms beautifully each day. Similarly, my focus is helping you regain strength, even when navigating difficult circumstances.

  2. The Core
The core is foundational, our powerhouse. A strong core supports daily activities and enables you to engage in more advanced movements. My goal is to help you reconnect with your core strength so you can thrive physically and functionally.

At Lotus Core PT, I am here to guide you out of the murky waters and back to being the powerhouse you are, with care, expertise, and a space for both laughter and growth.
